Dearest moon lover,
Six months ago, almost to the day, I posted about the New Moon in Capricorn on Threads. I had 170 followers and no idea what I was doing. All I knew was that my life was changing for the better because of how I was working with the lunar cycle, in a way I never had before, and I wanted to share it with whoever would listen.
I set my intentions during that exact New Moon in Capricorn to grow my account, attract my community, and start a business that didn't feel like just another job to survive. And boy, did she deliver.
Since then, Intuitive Mother has grown 782%.
That post is the reason any of this exists. The reason you're reading this right now.
This Monday night, the moon is back in Capricorn. Except this time she's full. And a full moon isn’t for planting something new. She’ll show you what actually grew from what you planted six months ago. Including the parts you'd rather not look directly at.
So let's look at it anyway.
Why this one's worth paying attention to
Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, the planet of structure and responsibility. It cares less about what you're wishing for and more about the life you're deliberately building, brick by brick. This full moon falls on the Cancer-Capricorn axis, which is the line between your home life and your public one. Your roots versus your ambitions. Both sides of that line are asking to be honest with each other this week, whether you're ready for that conversation or not.
There's also a hard angle from Saturn right now, sitting in Aries and squaring both the Sun and the Moon. This means that whatever commitment you've been coasting on, the deadline you keep pushing, the obligation you said yes to without really meaning it, is getting checked. Saturn wants to know if it's still load bearing.
And right around this same moment, Mercury stations retrograde.
Okay cool Lesli, wtf does that mean for me? Glad you asked!
In plain terms: this is not a launch week. Don't sign the contract, don't send the big text, don't make the leap. This is a revisit-and-reread window, not a move-forward one. If something feels unclear right now, do not take it as a sign to push through it. This is the time for you to wait for the fog to clear before you commit to anything.
Did I mention, this is not a manifesting moon?
I say this every single full moon and I'll keep saying it because it matters: full moons don't plant intentions. New moons do that.
A full moon's entire job is illumination. She shows you what's actually there so you can decide what stays and what goes. If you sit down Monday night trying to manifest something brand new, you're using the wrong tool for the day.
This is a releasing and forgiveness moon. That's the whole assignment. Nothing fancier than that.
Where this is landing for you
Same as always. Find your rising sign below, not your sun sign. This is whole sign houses, which means Capricorn is fully covering one specific area of your chart right now, and that area is exactly where you're being asked to release something.
Aries rising → 10th house. Career and how you show up publicly are in the spotlight aka your reputation, your title. Maybe it's the side hustle you keep downplaying, or the job that pays the bills but doesn't feel right to you anymore. Ask yourself: if nobody was watching, would I still want this exact thing? If the answer's no, that's what you're releasing.
Taurus rising → 9th house. Your beliefs about what's possible for your life are getting tested. Maybe part of you decided your dreams have to wait until the kids are older or life finally slows down. So ask yourself: what would I actually go after right now if I stopped waiting for the "right time"?
Gemini rising → 8th house. This one's heavier than most, so stick with me. The 8th house covers the stuff you don't usually talk about out loud aka joint money, debt, intimacy, the deep emotional stuff underneath everything else. This is not a light release for you this cycle. Ask yourself: where am I still tangled up in someone else's money or secrets, and what would it take to untangle it?
Cancer rising → 7th house. This house is all about your closest relationships. Think: your partner, best friend, whoever you do life with. If you're the one doing most of the emotional heavy lifting and you've just accepted that's the deal, this full moon wants you to look at it closely. Sit with this one: in this relationship, am I getting back anything close to what I'm giving?
Leo rising → 6th house. Your day to day. Your routine, body, and how you function hour to hour, is where the spotlight lands. If you've got a habit running on pure autopilot and exhaustion instead of anything you actually chose, notice it now. Ask yourself: which part of my routine would I drop immediately if I gave myself permission to?
Virgo rising → 5th house. Joy, creativity, romance, anything that's supposed to just feel good…that's your spot! If there's a rule in your head that says fun has to be earned first, that's what's ready to gooo. Here's a question: what would I actually enjoy doing this week if I didn't need a reason first?
Libra rising → 4th house. Home and family are lit up: your roots, the house you grew up in, the one you're building now. Maybe there's an old rule from how you were raised that's still running your household even though you never actually chose it. Ask yourself: which family pattern am I still repeating just because it's familiar, not because it's working?
Scorpio rising → 3rd house. It’s about your voice: what you express and what you’ve been holding back. If there’s something you’ve been turning over in your mind for weeks but haven’t shared, this Full Moon wants you to get curious about why. What feels risky about voicing it?
Sagittarius rising → 2nd house. Money and self worth, tangled together like they always are. Maybe somewhere you've decided that asking for more makes you greedy, or that rest has to be earned first. So ask yourself: what would I charge, ask for, or save if I actually believed I deserved it?
Capricorn rising → 1st house. This Full Moon lands right on you: your identity, your body, your presence, the way you move through the world. If you’ve built a version of yourself around what other people expect or need from you, this is the cycle that calls it out. Ask yourself: who am I when no one else’s opinion is in the room.
Aquarius rising → 12th house. Your most private, internal house is getting the light, and for you that means quiet > loud. You don't need a breakthrough by Monday. Let things settle in the background instead of forcing them. Sit with this: what have I been avoiding simply because it's uncomfortable to slow down?
Pisces rising → 11th house. Community, friendships, your biggest hopes for the future. Maybe a friendship ran its course once life got busier, or you're holding onto a dream out of habit instead of actual want. Ask yourself: is this still something I want, or something I'm just used to wanting?
How to actually use this
Find your house above. Read it twice. Then do this:
Get specific about what you're releasing. And don’t just say "negative energy." Go a little deeper than that. Example: I'm releasing the belief that I have to earn rest before I'm allowed to take it. Write it down, say it out loud, or write it and burn it if you're into that.
Then, for the next few days, resist the urge to start anything brand new. With Mercury retrograde landing right on top of this full moon, this window rewards revisiting over launching. Reread the email before you send it. Look again at the agreement before you sign it. The thing you've been sitting on for months probably deserves one more look before you walk away from it completely.
Speed things up a bit
Releasing something out loud once feels good for about an hour. Then the old pattern creeps right back in, usually that same night while you're scrolling instead of sleeping.
What actually makes a release stick is what you do with your subconscious mind in the days after…specifically right before you fall asleep, when your conscious mind finally shuts up and your subconscious is wide open and listening. That window is where old patterns either get reinforced one more time or actually start to loosen.
Most people spend it scrolling. You don't have to be most people.
That nightly practice, paired with knowing exactly which house this full moon is hitting for you, is the combination that turns "I released something" into "that thing actually stopped showing up in my life."
It's exactly what I walk you through, step by step, inside Make Your Magic.
Make Your Magic is my complete lunar manifestation system for busy minds. Inside you’ll get the house activation process, my exact intention method for planting, and the full releasing and forgiveness ritual for nights exactly like this one. Plus the nightly subconscious practice that does the actual heavy lifting in between. Reusable every single cycle, for every single rising sign.
One last thing before Monday
Capricorn doesn't do anything halfway, including endings. Whatever you release this cycle, mean it. Don't release it Monday and pick it back up Wednesday because it felt easier to hold.
This moon isn't asking you to be perfect. Capricorn was never that interested in perfect anyway. It's asking you to be honest, which is a much higher bar and a much more useful one.
The moon's been doing her thing for 4.5 billion years.
She's not waiting on your to-do list to clear first ;-)
See you under the next moon,
Lesli | Intuitive Mother
